Multidrug resistant strain.
Resistant to ampicillin,amoxicillin/clavulanic acid,ciprofloxacin,cephalothin,doxycycline,gentamicin,
erythromycin,imipenem,methicillin,penicillin,tetracycline,oxacillin,azithromycin,clindamycin,ceftriaxone,rifampin,amikacin and tobramycin.
Susceptible to teicoplanin,chloramphenicol,fosfomycin,mupirocin,streptomycin,trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole,and vancomycin.
Intermediate resistance to minocycline.
As the guidelines provided by Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute(CLSI)state,resistance to oxacillin implies resistance to other penicillins such as methicillin.
