Host Organism : CV-1 cells (ATCCCCL-70)
Effect : Yes, in vitro effects: Cytopathic effects in tissue culture
Comments : A recombinant virus which produces SV-40 large T antigen and contains a human alphabeta choriogonadotropin clone. This encodes both the alpha and beta subunits of human luteinizing hormone and produces both subunits in host mammalian cells in a biologically active, glycosylated heterodimeric form. [12607] The vector is an SV40 deriv with SV40 promoter and pMB1 and SV40 replicons. The LHA gene is on a HindIII fragment. The LHB gene is on an EcoRI/BamHI fragment. [12607]
