Summary and
additional information:
<- K. L. Straub, Max-Planck-Inst., Bremen; N2. Marine sediment samples; Germany. Type strain. Taxonomy/description (7393). At the time of deposit a 16S rRNA gene sequence was not available. Although the depositor has confirmed the identity of this strain there appear to be discrepancies between the 16S rRNA gene sequence deposited for this strain (Y15012) and that determined in the DSMZ which indicates that it is identical to Y15011, the 16S rRNA gene sequence deposited for DSM 12328, the type strain of Rhodovulum iodosum . (Medium 929, 25°C, anaerobic)
